Pusan National University held an education innovation forum for the Graduate School of International Maritime Studies on September 21.

The new graduate school will focus on cultivating specialized maritime professionals across a broad range of fields, including maritime policy and finance, advanced technologies, and the wider maritime industry.

PNU expects the Graduate School to serve as a hub for developing highly skilled maritime talent, supporting Busan’s maritime policy priorities and the continued growth of the regional maritime industry.

The forum provided an opportunity to further discuss the curriculum and academic direction of each major, including maritime policy, maritime finance, and maritime AX, with input from experts across the maritime sector.

Participants included representatives from the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Korea Ocean Business Corporation, and Busan Port Authority, as well as professors and students from the Graduate School of International Maritime Studies.
